periodontal therapy
Periodontal disease is an infection in your gums that can range from mild to severe. In its early stages, called gingivitis, we may be able to manage the condition. In later stages, called periodontist, you may require specialized dental cleanings or even surgery. If it is left untreated for too long it can eventually lead to loss of your teeth, bone and soft tissue.

We do our very best to help you avoid surgery whenever possible. Our dentist will work with you to improve your oral hygiene habits and will provide you with specialized cleanings that help to remove tartar, bacteria, and infection from your gums. In most cases, these specialized dental cleanings will be enough to get you back on track.

Until you heal completely, we may recommend more frequent dental cleanings to help promote healthy gums. Our dentists are professional, compassionate, and gentle. You will never be made to feel guilty because of your condition. We understand and will simply focus on restoring your health.

It is important to remember however, that once you have an infection in your gums, it can easily reoccur. You will need to remain diligent with your home care and regular professional cleaning appointments to keep your infection at bay.
